DR. ANA'NEICIA WILLIAMS

Dr. Ana'Neicia Williams, is a community relations strategist  that assists individuals, groups and communities  in fostering relationships and partnerships to support wellness initiatives. She integrates her creativity and clinical background to curate therapeutic spaces rooted in culture and ancestral practices. She is most known for her work in maternal-child and reproductive mental health and advocacy. As one of the co-founders and Co-CEO's of The Black Counseling and Consulting Collective, she is responsible for prioritizing company culture and organizational operations. 

 

She is also the Clinical Director and Founder of Momology Maternal Wellness Club, LLC, where she provides vision mapping and consulting to organizations that serve women and families. Coaching and counseling to individuals and their families, and training and facilitation. Through Momology, Dr. Williams navigates the lane of policy change and was nominated in 2023, by Kentucky Senator Shelley Funke-Frommeyer to serve as a member of the maternal mental health collaborative panel required by SB 135. 

 

Dr. Williams is a three-time graduate of Spalding University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Social Work and  Doctor of Social Work with a specialization in Leadership and Administration. During her doctoral graduation she was recognized with the “Outstanding Graduate Student Teacher award. As well as an award for “Transformational Capstone” for her research entitled, “Exploring Sista Circles to Combat the Black Maternal Health Crisis” where she did a pilot study that offered participants the ability to process their encounters, experiences, and solutions within Black Maternal Health.  

 

 When Dr. Williams is not on the frontlines serving, you can find her in her community. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and a board member of ACLU-KY.  Her passion for on-going learning is why she serves as an adjunct professor at Spalding University School of Social Work, where she mentors and prepares upcoming social workers and professionals in social work ethics, and community practice and policy advocacy.
